Hatha Yoga
... is a class that can include Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Yoga (Slow Vinyasa) and/or VinYin.
The level is adapted to the registered participants based on the information they shared. If the class is beginner specified, you can expect an alignment-based class of basic asanas (poses).
This practice is suitable for everyone with an active lifestyle.
Restorative Yoga
... is a calming practice where we hold the poses on the ground for a time with the body relaxed. It is yoga for the nervous system - by taking away the distraction of the body we allow for our experiences to be digested.
This practice is suitable for all ages and all levels of yoga.
Yin Yoga
... is a quiet practice where we hold the poses on the ground for a time with the muscles relaxed. It is yoga with the focus on creating more mobility, flexibility, lubrication within the joints and spine as well as opening up the energy channels (meridians) of the organs.
This practice is suitable for all ages and all levels of yoga.
Vinyasa Flow
... is movement with the breath, or movement from one pose to the next with an intention. In this class we put the accent on breath, alignment and action.
This practice is suitable for everyone with an active lifestyle.
Gentle Yoga
... is a class based on alignment and action. We could also classify it as a Slow Vinyasa as we are moving with our breath in a slower pace.
It is accessible to all levels and all ages. I offer as many modifications as needed to hold space for every student.
VinYin
... is a combined practice of Yin Yoga during the first half of the class and Slow Vinyasa during the second.
